We were delighted to take part in the Xplore Sydney Festival 2012 last weekend. There were workshops by Hajime Kinoko, Tristan Taormina and many others.

Morgan Carpenter photographed the performances on Saturday night, by Hajime Kinoko with Shinobu Mochizuki, AñA Wojak with Tony Yap, Brendan O’Connor and Janenne Vickery, Mélanie Derouetteau, and by Annetta Luce with Marina Kronkvist.

The latter two performances were simultaneous but we’ve separated out the photographs here. These were by AñA Wojak with Tony Yap, Brendan O’Connor and Janenne Vickery, and by Hajime Kinoko with Shinobu Mochizuki.

François Sagat returned to Sydney for a hot performance at the Oxford Hotel on Saturday 10 March, at ‘King Size’, a full size event by DJ promoters Nathan Mahon and Matt Vaughan. Seymour Butz, Ben Drayton, Steve Sonius and The Sweats also played.

On Wednesday 29 February it was time for another Underbear party with the Harbour City Bears at the Oxford Art Factory. We ran a photobooth again, and we really hope you enjoy these shots.

Rather than present some social photography shots, we wanted to show a more interesting side of the event. You’re unlikely to see yourself in any of these photographs on Facebook, but we hope these shots make you feel like you were there.

The event was as colourful as usual, despite the cool, wet conditions that dominated the summer season in Sydney. We were glad to be there, and glad to be able to photograph the parade from on Oxford Street, as in previous years.
